November 28, 2019 Jim & Pam visit

Jim and Pam arrived late last night around past midnight. I was already in bed. This morning, we were showing them the expansion, and while finishing viewing the top floor, on our way down, Pam missed a step and fell right to the floor below since there was no railings. She was unable to breath for a couple of minutes and laid down for about 15-20 minutes, although it seemed longer. I was so worried, but Jim was so calm. She requested a blessing and Scott and Jim gave her one immediately. After a while, she slowly was able to get up with help.

She sat most of the day, and by the afternoon, Bridger Park came. He is a therapist who is also a member of the church and happen to live here at Lake Royale. He said she has no broken bones, but likely a disconnected rib. Needless to say, being the Thanksgiving day and long weekend, no chiropractor office was open, nor we think that might help. We almost took her to Urgent care, but she said she's fine. She is in a lot of pain, and managing that pain with cream that Jim bought along with pain medications, and some electrolyte patches she brought with her.

We are just so thankful that she was not in any worse and was not in the hospital. I feel bad it happened at all, even on the first day of her vacation. She has been home bound and has limited her mobility. I pray she gets better at least for her travel home, as it is a long day of travel. Although, she is much better sitting up, than lying down actually.

Jim and Scott has been busy buying materials for construction. They picked up a table tennis for me that I saw for free at the FB marketplace. They normally cost 1800+ at least. It has been raining the past couple of days, I hope they get to see sunnier and warmer weather while they are visiting.

All week, Adam has impressed me greatly. He has been into reading the Book of Mormon. What a great example to all of us.
